About

As a native of Birmingham area, Ryan has always wanted to be an entrepreneur.  A third generation homebuilder, homebuilding just seemed to fit.  Ryan attended the University of Alabama and received a degree in general business with a specialization in Real Estate. He then completed an internship in Raleigh, North Carolina working for Raleigh Custom Homes.

In May of 2013, Mountainview Custom Homes was born.  Since then, Ryan has completed many award winning custom homes, both pre-sale and spec. Ryan loves to see projects from conception to completion. He is also hands on with many projects, as he has performed most of the jobs that are required to build a home from roofing to finish carpentry.

Ryan married his beautiful wife Kristen in June of 2017, with Rhett being born June 21st, 2020. Happy Father's Day!  Ryan’s hobbies include fishing, hunting and woodworking. He looks forward to bringing new ideas and designs to the building industry.  

Ryan currently sits on the Birmingham Home Builders Association Board of Directors.
